As you may notice my blog has changed it's look over the past few days, and I have to say not for the better. I'm really just playing around with setting until I decide what I would like it to look like then I'll get creative with it.

In other words, I hope my currently ugly blog doesn't scare you away and you come back to visit soon! I promise it will get better! haha

Where did Summer go?

oh my word, I had not realized I hadn't posted in August at all! That month went by in the blink of an eye I tell ya! It was a cold and mostly rainy month, not the greatest way to spend the last few weeks of summer. we did manage to get some time in at teh playground, Xavier had his 1st Soccer tournement and I was able to enter some photography and a scrapbook page in an Exhibition.

Anyway, yesterday was probably the most exciting day in a long time; Xavier's 1st day going back to school!!! He was very excited to go back....actually he's been waiting since the end of July to go back! LOL I don't know what excited him more, getting to see all his friends again or the fact that he's able to get away from his lil brothers during the day! haha







So yea, life is going back to normal as we are al adjusting to being back in our daily routine after the summer break.

As I mentioned in my last post I just finished participating in a summer crop. Theres an MSN group that I belong to that holds quarterly crops and they are lots of fun! Lots of challenges to keep you busy scrapping and fun games to keep the chatter and good times rollin'. If this sounds like a group you may be interested in joining, please contact me personally and I can forward you on to the lady in charge :) She has made such a fantastic group, and I am so happy to have had the chance to get to know her, and all the members of the group... such a friendly bunch of people we really are all like family. :)

Little Man's BIG Day!

Hello readers! Sorry to be so far behind on my posting... I never was good a keeping a diary guess I'm still not. LOL July has been a busy month for us. We've had lots of summer events to keep us busy.

July is a month for birthday's in our family. My Mom's was on the 12th, my neice Kennedy had her's on the 15th and my youngest son Preston had his 1st birthday on the 19th!!! What a day! Little man was very well behaved on his birthday.... especially considering he refused to take a nap all day, I was expecting a melt down but he did really really well.... even after he dug right in to his cake and ate more sugar that he was ever allowed to before!!!

Prestons birthday was also the same day as Cherry Carnival so we had a lot of fun things to do all day long, watch a parade, water sport activities, bouncy rooms, bingo, dunk tank, good bags, cotton candy, woodsman competitions, breakfast with bubbles the clown, balloon animals, face painting, sit down dinners, cherry pie eating contest, cherry pit spittin' contest, Kareoke competition, game of chance, CHERRIES & fireworks!!!!! Good times :) The best part is always seeing friends you haven't seen for a very long time.... Cherry Carnival always brings them 'back home'.

On top of this we've had soccer nights every Tuesday & Thursday.... Xavier is doing really well with it and says he's having fun.... thats the important thing. It is getting to be a bit tiresome lugging everyone out two nights a week, but hey that's what a soccer mom does right? ann to think this is the easy stage.... pretty soon I'll have 3 of them out there getting involved and it'll be more nights a week, longer times, real games.... I need a nap just thinking about it!! lol

What a week!

I hope everyone out there enjoyed their nations Holiday whether it was Canada Day or Independence day. I know we had a great time celebrating both! :)

Canada Day was a day jam packed with lots of fun for the kids. We went to our towns celebration, and enjoyed live entertainment, free hot dogs & birthday cake, candy scramble, crafting, balloon animals, frisbee throwing, Horse and buggy ride, and the boys personal favorite running through the giant sprinkler the fire department had set up! We also spent time at the wading pool and the boys had a lot of fun there too, the down fall to it all...dispite being loaded up with sun screen we all still got pretty harsh sunburns :( My poor little guys look like lobsters..... can't let that happen again, we'll just remember to take a break from the sun next time :)

The 4th of July was fun although we didn't do a whole lot. We did go out for ice cream, and did a little geocaching too. Then we spent the evening home and watched the Pops goes the 4th special and the fireworks display in Boston. My dream is to spend the 4th of July in Boston watching that very same event. I love Boston, I love the Boston Pops and I love the fireworks display they put on every year!.... someday hopefully that dream will come true.

We've got a busy two weeks ahead of us. I've got lots of cleaning and preperations to do to get ready for my Baby Boys 1st birthday!!! and in between there are soccer practices, and whatever else the boys want me to take them out to do next....lol I hope to be able to sneak some scrappy time in there somewhere too and post a few things for you to see before we take off on our mini vacation.

Ready Made Pages

Here are some samples of pages that are done and ready for you to add your own pictures. All you would need is some adhesive and a pen (both archival safe of course) and away you go. :)

Oh, I just found these recipe pages that I had made a while back. They work well being done on smaller pages as well, will try and dig up some samples of those later on. :)

Creations so far..... part 3

Ok, last one for tonight, here are some odds and ends I've created. Anything from page kits that can be used to create scrapbook pages with, altered pieces, mini albums etc.

Various page kits that I have created reciently.

These are monogram pieces that can be added to a scrapbook page. These were originally playing cards and I altered them.

Frozen juice lid altered into a fridge maganet

Altered Mini Notebook.... have done regular sized notebooks as well persoalized with names.

and this is a regular sized notebook that I altered.

"Exploding Box" ~ This particular one hasn't been embellished yet, but when the lid is lifeted off there are 3 layers of pages in each quadrant that fall down tht you can place photos on. A pretty neat lil way to share your memories :)

Paper bag albums..... these are fun lil mini albums to make and they always turn out super cute! They make great friendship albums ;)

Since this is a new blog, and I have made quite a lot of things in the past that I would love to show you I thought I'd make a couple entries showcasing some of those items. This post will include some of my most recient and favorite Scrapbook pages.

Yes, he really is inside the pumpkin, and yes I really did do this to him just to have the pictures to scrapbook.....LOL
