Welcome to my Blog

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. :) Since this is my first post I thought I'd give ya a little bit of a background of who I am, and why I do whatever it is I do.

Firstly and most importantly I am a Stay At Home Mom to 3 wonderful little boys. Xavier is 6 and just finished his first year of school! We are so proud of him, he has grown so much as an individual this year and is one smart little cookie! Our middle son is Robbie. He is a 3 year old little Mr. 'know-it-all" with a whole lot of attitude, but he makes up for it by being so darn cute and funny. Preston is our baby, his first birthday is coming up on July 19th. That was one FAST year I tell ya!!! Preston is just as cute as the rest, and a very good baby. He loves everybody and is also quite the comedian. I couldn't be happier with these guys if I tried, and I love spending every moment with them as they grow up into good boys that everybody loves. :) My boyfriend Ric and I have been together for 8 years.... that's right folks, High School sweethearts we are. :) He's a great guy, and a great dad what more could I ask for? Oh I know! Maybe to be married.....sheesh! Maybe someday. :)

Here's our family photo I set up and took back at Christmas time.

Ok, now back to me. I'm 26, and currently live in the nice little town of Kentville Nova Scotia. We've been here almost 2 years now, and have loved it! I was born in Salem Massachusetts, and am very proud to admit it. I like to call myself an "Americanadian"... and show my pride for both countries I have lived. I have a Americana decor going on in my house....I figure that is the perfect balance, live in Canada, decorate for America.....LOL I moved to Nova Scotia with my family when I was just 4 years old. I grew up in Bear River, and enjoyed living there very much too. We do miss living there from time to time and miss having family close by, but we feel so at home in Kentville, and there is so much more here for the boys to do and get involved in, so we hope to someday find our permanent home here.

So what else do I do?? Well with raising 3 little boys it's hard to find time for much else. I spend every space second I can get scrapbooking. It's a way for me to get creative, and do something not only that I enjoy, but it's something I am doing for the boys. They my not realize the importance of the pages I make or pictures I take now, but they will when they are all grown up..... it's gonna come sooner than any of us think! I love working with paper a lot! I make a lot of cards, mini albums, kits, even some decor pieces. If it can be made with paper, I've probably tried to do it! lol I also enjoy photography (good thing eh? I need those pictures to keep me scrapping!). I am hoping to take a photography course over the winter then get myself out there as a freelance photographer. Wish me luck! I also love to design web pages, and play online games such as World of Warcraft! I also enjoy collecting Cherry stuff! I absolutly love cherries (and the funny thing is I can't stand them when it comes to eating them....lol).

As a family, we enjoy being together, weather it's playing outside, crafting inside, watching movies or whatever, we pretty much do it all together. We're big NASCAR fans, everyone has their own favorite driver and we love to route against one another for 'our' drivers. lol We also like football, and occasional baseball as well. We love our 'home' teams! Go Pats!, Go Red Sox!, Go Celtics! and yea go ahead and throw the puck at me now as I say Go Bruins! LOL We also enjoy spending a nice day out Geocaching! Ric loves the challenge of looking for the Cache, the boys love the fact that they find 'treasure', and I love the great photos I get to take both of my family and of the beautiful scenery along the way.

Ok, that's pretty much me and my family in a nutt shell, if I haven't bored you already, I hope you come back to see what I've been creating and what the family has been up to.

~Jenn~
